As we know, the recent start of the school year has finally tested the implementation and enforcement of Law 87 of 17 June 2021, which establishes that from 1 September until 31 December 2021 all school staff in the national education and university system are required to hold and show the green Covid-19 certification. The obligation to verify the certificate is the responsibility of school managers and those in charge of education and childcare services, who may delegate this task to specially identified and trained personnel. The law does not provide for strict verification procedures, but the Ministry of Education has provided useful indications on how to verify possession of the Green Pass in a circular adopted on 30 August.
